FutureWare has been developing software for the Rental Industry since 1990 using only the
latest technology database and programming systems.
In 1994 FutureWare was Incorporated as FutureWare Enterprises, Inc.
and acquired a Curtis Mathes Home Entertainment Center store in Zephyrhills Fl. (in
November 1997 the store name was changed to Galaxy TV and Home Furnishings) This was
not only another source of income but also a testing ground for our software.
The President and Head of Development of FutureWare Enterprises, Inc. has been in the
rental business for over 13 years and knows what rental stores need when it comes to
software. We believe this experience in the rental business along with the continual
operations and testing of the software in our own store makes our software the most
advanced, easy to use, and most suited software on the market for the rental industry.
Most other Rent to Own software company's software is DOS or Unix/XENIX based. Most of
these companies are now working on Windows versions or are planning to in the future. They
realize that Windows is, and will be the operating system of choice for a long time. We've
known that for a long time and have had our windows based software available since 1993.
We try to stay up with current technology instead of lagging behind and playing catch-up.
We've had features for years that other companies are just now adding to their software
like "On Screen Account Management", support for small receipt printers
and Laser printing of contracts and other forms. We
are always adding new features to our software, most of which are requests from current
users.
